CAPITOL STEPS ADVANCE TO NATIONALS!!!

 

We would like to congratulate our JUVENILE TEAM for finishing 3rd at the Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships and advancing to the

2009 U.S.  SYNCHRONIZED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS, which was held in Portland, Maine, March 3-7, 2009! 

 

Our INTERMEDIATE TEAM finished 5th, giving them an alternate designation for Nationals! 

 

Our Preliminary Team finished 1st and our

Open Juvenile Team finished 4th at the 2009 Colonial Classic, held at Tsongas Arena in Lowell, Mass.  

 

Way to Go Teams! 

 

Tryouts for the 2009-2010 Season have already been held, but we still have slots available! 

 

Come and join the fun and be part of our team! 

If you like to skate and would like to be part of a team, then synchronized skating is for you! 

 

Synchronized skating consists of a group of about twelve to twenty figure skaters skating on the ice at one time. They work together as one unit, performing to a program set to music.
