For the second consecutive year the Capitol Steps Juvenile Team qualified for the U.S. Synchronized Skating Championship!
Our Juvenile Team advanced to Nationals in 2009 and 2010, competing in the US Synchronized Skating Championships in Portland, ME, and Minneapolis, MN. We congratulate the Capitol Steps on their great performances both seasons!

ALL teams remain Open! Beginner 1, Beginner 2, Pre-Juvenile, Juvenile, Intermediate, Junior, Open-Adult
Skate-With-Us sessions May 12 and May 19, early am at Kettler.

7th Annual Ice Champions Live! October 1, 5:00 pm
Michael Weiss invited the Capitol Steps to perform for the third year straight in the 7th Annual Ice Champions Live! The lineup included Brian Boitano, Ilia Kulik, Sinead & John Kerr, Kimmie Meissner and many more past and future skating greats!
All proceeds from this show benefit the Michael Weiss Foundation—a non profit organization supporting Olympians of the future.

Novice Team Advances to Nationals!!!
Congratulations to the Novice Team for advancing to the 2012 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Worcester Massachusetts! March 1– 3, 2012
Competing at the 2012 U.S. Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships in Hershey, PA., the Capitol Steps Synchronized skating teams all had a great performance!

Interest Meeting and Skills Clinic At Kettler Capitals IcePlex
May 19, early am at Kettler
On-ice clinic with interest meeting immediately following ($25 clinic fee for first time attendees )
We recommend that skaters are proficient in skills of Preliminary Moves in the Field, Adult Pre-Bronze, or equivalent
